Tonight is Eagle High's Homecoming Dance and Caitlin learned late last night from a friend that her date had been injured during the football game and wasn't able to walk. During the 4th qtr. Bryce got hit in the knee with a helmet and someone tackled him from behind twisting his knee. His knee is swollen and in a brace. They think he may have torn his mcl but won't find out for sure until Mon when he goes in for a MRI. Caitlin wasn't sure how much dancing they would actually be able to do tonight. We thought it was great that he was still willing to go despite being on crutches and in pain. They looked great. It is still hard to look at her and realize how old she is getting - tugs at my heart strings.

ps Bryce ended up having to get two surgeries and go through six months of rehab. i don't remember exactly what happened, but something his acl, so thats BAD. He has his first surgery monday morning so hopefully it goes well.
sorry i'm growing up so fast mom.
