Well it has been a while since I've posted anything - what a month it has been! I would just like to say that I hope it is quite a while before we have to come to IF for a funeral. Two in a month has been quite the roller coaster ride. It sure was great seeing everyone we could while we were there though.
Last night Adrian called mom (Grandma Curtis) to tell her that it was 5:25, snowing and he had practice. Both the boys did acutally. Anthony's team made it a little over a half hour and Adrian's was 45 min. When Adrian and Zach got in the truck they were so cold. They stripped down to just their pants and were sticking hands and feet in every heater spot they could find. Adrian's shoes were soaked and he was wringing out his socks. The snow was beautiful but I am thankful it didn't stick down here. The mountains have snow on them today and while sitting at football games you could tell that it was snowing. Today's newspaper said that 1.7 inches fell in Boise and was the earliest snowfall recorded since record keeping began.
We froze our heinies off today. We still can't seem to get warm. We sat out in the wind and 34 degree temp. for 6 hours with a 1/2 hour in the truck in between games to warm up. By the time we left it was 45 with the wind blowing about 20 mph. It wasn't fun. Anthony's team won 28-6 and Adrian's lost 38-6. It is somewhat sad that next week will be the last games but as the weather continues to get colder we won't miss sitting outside.
