Saturday night was the Sadie Hawkins dance - Caitlin took her current flame Kyle. They started off the morning with kidnapping the boys for an early breakfast at one of the girl's (Chelsey) house and then they broke into two groups for their day date. Caitlin and her best friend Jennica (top picture) took their dates to the state police headquarters (Jennica's dad is an officer). There they played a simulated target range and various hostage situations. One Caitlin talked about was a guy sitting on his front lawn in a chair w/ a gun to his head saying he was going to kill himself. Their goal was to obviously talk him out of it. She said that no matter how much they talked or what they said that in the end he ended up shooting himself and just fell over backwards in his chair. She said it was very interesting. The other group went to an indoor go kart track. Later that evening we fed 8 couples at our house before they headed out for the dance. They had chilli dogs, fruit, chips & dip. After the dance they went back to Chelsey's for a bonfire and dessert. It was a long day but they all had a great time.
They wanted to line up on the stairs for a picture - evidently it is a dance picture ritual. It is hard to see the top 2 couples. Hopefully one of the other mom's picture will turn out better.
Mom & Marilyn I don't know if you remember Aleigh from when Caitlin cheered at Wing's but she is the one in the bright yellow tshirt. And then the boy on the bottom step is an exchange student but Caitlin can't remember from where.
