Yesterday was the Meridian Middle School Wrestling Districts. Adrian placed 3rd in his weight class of 135. There were 8 boys competing. It was a long day! He had to be at the high school by 8:20 and we left at 5:30. I have posted all three matches on the side. His first opponent they went into the 3rd round. He had the guy a few times but in that 3rd round he ended up on his back and just couldn't get up. He was so upset. 2nd match he pinned the guy pretty quick and then the 3rd match was the same guy he wrestled on the first match and pinned him in about 15 or 20 seconds. Adrian's middle school ended up taking the trophy for Middle District Champions too. The coach said this is the first year they have ever had so many wrestlers make it to the final rounds. There were 15 boys in the finals. Quite a year!
Anthony got his driver's license Thursday. He only missed one on the test and was pretty pleased with himself as he should be. He had found an app on his phone for a driver's test so he spent the drive home from Idaho Falls last weekend taking the test. On Friday, Anthony & Jared went to U-Swirl for yogurt, Krispy Kreme for doughnuts and then back to our house. Saturday they went to McDonald's & a friends house. All trips with no incident!
Gary is getting ready to start his new job at Wells Fargo tomorrow. This past week was a week of lunches, an open house and then Friday night he was taken out for a night on the town. Here is a good story for you: Friday night when he was out with co-workers he said they all had their smart phones out and everyone was doing something with them. Well he decided to show them how smart his phone is (was) since it is suppose to be Army grade so he dropped it in a cup of water. His "smart" phone no longer works very well! He is not eligible for a new phone for a couple of weeks so he is now using Anthony's old phone. Gary has been letting his phone sit in rice for the weekend but it just isn't working well.

I like the story of Gary's phone. Sounds like you guys have been busy, hope Gary's new job is working out. Kids driving and all of that, we are getting older. Talk to you soon. I told Ben this too, you should activate mobile on your blog it makes it easier to view and comment from a smartphone for me which is all I have during the weekdays, the option should be on your dashboard when you log in, just a thought anyways....
