Last night the boys were out jumping on the tramp when 3 kids came walking by on the bike path, stopped, and asked Adrian if he was Mexican. Of course Adrian couldn't help but reply "Yes, and I am Asian too." Anthony & Adrian found this quite amusing so the conversation carried on into dinner. Last year when we were in Florida some kid came up to Adrian and started talking to him in Spanish and then add to that the fact that his football coach can't seem to remember his name. He constantly confused Adrian with Alex, who is hispanic, on the team. Regardless of the fact that both boys have played for him for 2 years and the other boys on the team would correct the coach as well as Adrian.
It is a good thing that Adrian has a good sense of humor about it. He asked Caitlin & Anthony (who started Spanish this quarter) to teach him Spanish so that he can confuse them even more.

Better not go to Mexico, they'll probably accuse of trying to smuggle a slave across the border when you come back.
We are going to try karate, but the classes here don't start until the kids are 6, so we've got a little bit to wait. Simon was pretty bummed about not being able to wrestle anymore, he really did seem to like it.
