One Tough Sport

Adrian's game today was againest a team that has the same standing as we do. Supposedly last week's game was the hardest team in the league but today's gave us a run for the money. The score ended up being 18-20 - we lost. It was a great game and had we been able to score on any of our 2 pt after the touchdown it would have been a different outcome. We actually scored twice by the end of the first half but they had one player that was extremely quick.

It was a warm one. Our truck said 63 when we dropped him off at 9 & we left the field at 12:30 & it was reading 88. I decided to share a picture of Adrian's arm from this past week of practice & a game. Along with these bruises he has a few little circles of dots that I am guessing might be from a cleat imprint? Hard to say- he thought they were signs of the swine flu since he has not been feeling well all week.

One boy on his team, Gray, has not had a good year so far. First he got a concussion at practice and had to sit out the McCall game. He played in last week's game & went mountain biking in the afternoon. His leg & a part of his bike decided to go to battle & Gray ended up getting 30 stitches in his calf so he is now out for atleast two weeks. Gray has been our quarterback for the past 2 years so now Adrian's friend Zach is getting in on the action.

Anthony is enjoying his guitar lessons. He really wants to just be able to play a particular song and wants to skip all the scales & reading of notes. In other words it is not moving fast enough for him.
